As part of WPI’s curriculum, students have the opportunity to create their own projects centered around improving their environment. With his experience at MassDOT, Nicholas created a project that focused on improving cities and towns ability to ensure compliance on the roadways they own. But, what was the best way to solve this problem, and at the same time, make the design process easier?

The Intersection Company was officially incorporated in Massachusetts for the purpose of realizing the research and concepts developed during the project. The company itself is a pseudo-civil agency that is dedicated to the promotion of compliance in roadway engineering, as well as a unit-focused perspective in engineering and planning as a whole.

The project group formally submitted its report establishing a need for a solution and describing in detail why this is the best solution for this problem. This also officially marked the debut of CiviCAD Resident BETA.

In early May, The Intersection Company advanced on its mission to not only build new systems, but to educate about compliance and safety. Our CEO launched our first lecture series at WPI in their Traffic Engineering Class!

The Company announced that it would immediately begin development of its flagship product: CiviCAD Engineering.
